About the Position
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Consulting team is a team of technology and business process experts that aid and assist direct sales to prospects, customers, and partners by creating, packaging, and demonstrating innovative solutions for a client's needs.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a market leader in digital marketing (email, sms, social and web), and a Solutions Consultant's role is to weave together, in one solution, all components critical to a successful outbound marketing campaign - CRM, web analytics, data warehouses, offer management. Presenting to Director and C-Level executives in both Marketing and IT, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Consultant must be energized and capable of delivering a powerful presentation and discussion of technology at all different levels of detail
• Fluency in English and Italian
• A proven track record of success - at least 5 years of experience in a similar rol
•Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting to a crowd of a thousand, a CMO, or two developers
•Thrive on change, ambiguity and autonomy
•Able to switch quickly between different modes of thinking and tasks
•A self-starter that is highly creative in assembling different tools, able to manage and prioritize effectively
•Innovative - able to innovate toolsets to make the team and clients more effective
•Able to work with sales team to understand and present a business case to clients - articulating a technical solution, highlighting the business benefits to the customer in a language they understand
•Have deep technical expertise in any of the following industries (digital marketing, enterprise data systems and analytics, business intelligence, web analytics, CRM, enterprise search and content management systems)
•Know SQL and RDBMS design well enough to instill confidence in the most demanding of DBAs
•Have their pulse on the latest trends in web technologies and online marketing
It would be great if...
• You know C# and .NET
• You have prior email marketing experience
• You've worked for a SaaS computing company
• You've presented and sold to marketers before
• You've had experience with product design, development, or implementation
• BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience with demonstrated proficiency
