Salesforce is looking for a highly effective strategy and technology leader to act as the Director/Senior Director, CSG M&A/Business Integration supporting the world-wide Customers Success Group (CSG). CSG plays a critical role in our company as it drives customer success and adoption of our products and services.

Reporting to the CSG M&A Lead, the candidate should have good understanding of customer success functions, be highly organized, possess exceptional executive communication skills, be able to juggle multiple priorities and have experience with merger and acquisition and business integration. The individual will be both visionary and pragmatic, and be able to work effectively in a matrixed environment. He or she will help define, communicate and execute the geographic strategy and support the lead in leading a high performing team to success.

  • Partner with the Strategy and Operations team to create the necessary tools, reports and data analytics to drive the business
  • Create and support delivery of senior executive level presentations
  • Own creation of PCOMM/ECOMM decks, operational dashboards, and detailed analysis
  • Partner with Finance to build annual budgets, update quarterly expense outlooks, ongoing capacity planning, merit and promotion planning
  • Develop, execute, and manage departmental communications
  • Ensure alignment with extended teams (e.g. sales) to meet shared target and metrics
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of products and services

Experience / Skills Required
  • M&A and business integration experience
  • Broad-based business and technology professional with 15+ years of services delivery and management experience, with proven track record of managing a P&L and/or operations
  • Highly organized, ability to coordinate activities of senior leaders to drive alignment and attainment of goals
  • Skillful in collaboration and diplomacy to ensure smooth working relationships across matrixed teams
  • Extensive experience presenting to and collaborating with Senior Executives
  • Consistent track record of building great teams and relentless operational execution
  • High-horsepower, high-energy, visionary executive with a proven entrepreneurial track record of defining and delivering new initiatives
  • Ability to execute at both the strategic and tactical level, able to roll up his/her sleeves to get things done
  • Proven success building strong relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
  • Experience managing systems infrastructure projects
